Team
One stock count for everybody, each on their own phone, with nothing lost when the phones sync.
An inventory app for multiple users has a job a one-person app never meets: two people working the same stock at the same moment, on two phones. In StockRoom each phone keeps its own record of every sale, delivery and count, and when they sync the two are joined movement by movement: a sale rung up on one phone and a delivery taken in on the other both count, and nothing entered once is ever counted twice.
For a shop or warehouse where more than one person handles the stock.
What is on it

Invite by a link
The owner makes a link and sends it however they already talk to that person. It comes with a code of four groups of four, easy to read out over the phone.

Owner or staff
An owner invites people and takes them off the team; staff record stock. A business can never remove its last owner, so there is always somebody who can let people back in.

Sections
A team can be given the places it works, so a person counts and moves stock in their own sections and is told plainly when a place belongs to somebody else. Owners work everywhere.

Every phone's work kept
Each phone keeps working with no signal and sends its changes when it is back. Changes are joined movement by movement, so nothing either phone recorded is lost and nothing is doubled.

How it works
- Open Team from the menu and make an invite.
- Send the link, or read out the code.
- They sign in on their own phone and start counting, selling and receiving the same stock.
What it does not do yet
A screen that looks like it did something it didn't is the worst outcome, so this is said here as plainly as it is in the app.
- Everybody on a team needs an account of their own.
- Up to four invites can be waiting at once.
Questions people actually ask
What happens when two people sell the same product at the same time?
Both sales count. Each one is its own movement with its own identity, so when the phones sync the stock drops by both, and a sale sent twice by a phone that lost its connection is still only kept once.
What if one phone has no signal?
It keeps working. Its sales, deliveries and counts stay on the phone and are sent when it is back online, where they join everybody else's without writing over them.
Do I pay for each person?
No. Every plan includes your whole team, Free included.
Can staff change stock anywhere?
Only in the sections their team has been given, when an owner has given it some. Owners, and people on no team, can change stock anywhere.
